The Glass Menagerie

In this classic Tennassee Williams play, David Berhold and I created a fusion of memory drawing on 1950's advertising, 1970's clothing and transformed the space in a magical realism exploring desperate hopes and crashing dreams.

"It’s a joy to see the Roundhouse space taken advantage of so comprehensively – the second-act scene change was a moment of exhilaration, and all this not mentioning the brilliant score provided by Gordon Hamilton. The Glass Menagerie is easily the best production La Boite has mounted so far this season and, for every element of it, should not be missed."
